Banks for a better World has been kicked off by Innotribe mid 2011. 

This new initiative is about exploring how mainstream banking, alternative banking and social business can interact and work together in a sustainable way.

Concrete direction and action will be further discussed in 2012, when a core group of banks will decide what Banks for a better world really means.

Banks for a better World – the core group is meeting on 6 March in New York!

The first official meeting of the Banks for a better World core group will be held in New York on 6 March. 

The group is a mix of financial institutions and social entrepreneurs.  What is the purpose? 

Decide whether there is space for collaboration at financial industry level to support social business and innovation.  And decide on concrete initiatives and focus to make it happen.
